Managed WordPress Hosting Services

You’ll Never Have to Ask to Speak to a Real Person Again

At Curly Coder, one person is responsible for handling your website, and you’ll speak with them every time.

99.5% uptime | 24/7 monitoring | Same-day security patches | Direct person-to-person support

Is your website failing when you need it most?

  • Sudden unexplained drop in sales or donations
  • “Did you know your website’s not working?”
  • Website slows or crashes during a fundraiser

How long has it been down?

Why did my WordPress site crash?

You contact your host and get an automated bot. It tells you things are working fine on their end and there’s nothing they can do.

None of this happens at a convenient time. It happens during your biggest fundraiser, your newest product launch, or right after sending thousands of people to your website.

At Curly Coder, you’ll never get stuck speaking with a bot, random customer reps, or wonder if your website is down. We proactively update your site’s plugins, keep backups, monitor your site 24/7, and get notified the moment it goes down so we can start working to get it back up right away.

The Hidden Cost of Cheap Hosting

Cheap hosting looks like a bargain until the renewal bill doubles or triples the next year.

Big hosts make their money by cramming hundreds of sites onto one server. Your site competes for resources with everyone else on it, especially during a traffic spike.

When something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Most budget hosts don’t monitor your site for problems, and it’s often your customers who notice first.

You’re the one who has to figure out how to fix your site, and every minute it’s down is a customer going elsewhere.

That’s a lot to carry for someone who just wants to focus on their work.

How is Curly Coder’s Managed WordPress Hosting different?

Unlike big hosts with thousands of customers, we keep our client list small so we can give each of our clients the attention they deserve. Hosting with us will give you the peace of mind that all website owners should have.

Who Managed WordPress Hosting Is For

Managed hosting is for anyone who wants their website to be hassle-free or relies on their website for donations or sales and can’t afford for the site to be down.

You want your site to feel professional, even if your team is small.

You’re a founder, creator, or small team who needs reliability without complexity.

You’ve already lost time or money to bad hosting

You care more about your work than your web server, and that’s okay.

How much does managed hosting cost?

Managed hosting pricing depends on how your site is built, how often you post, and how much traffic it receives. A simple static page website uses fewer resources than a 30-page WordPress site built with Elementor.

We review your site before moving you to our hosting, then place you in the appropriate tier. If your website starts to outgrow its tier, we’ll contact you.

Tier 1Tier 2Tier 3
Best For Low traffic, Brochure sites, Simple nonprofit sites, Portfolio sites Moderate traffic, websites with an established marketing blog, small businesses, active nonprofit sites. High traffic, E-commerce, or Member Portals/Customer Hubs
Month to Month $40/mo (nonprofits: $35) $80/mo (nonprofits: $65) $175/mo (nonprofits: $160)
Annual Cost $35/mo (nonprofits: $30/mo) $70/month (nonprofits: $55/mo) $150/month (nonprofits: $135/mo)

All tiers include SSL, website backups, uptime monitoring, server monitoring, security monitoring, crash support, free migration to our servers, and WordPress and plugin updates tested on a staging server before being made live.

Not sure which tier you fit? We’ll review your website for free and recommend the right plan before you spend a penny. If your needs grow, we’ll reach out proactively with metrics and upgrade recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Managed hosting means our team runs and monitors the server your site lives on. We handle updates, security, backups, and troubleshooting, so you don’t have to.

Large hosting companies typically have a low intro price to get people on board, but prices go up when you renew, or they upsell essential features. Their shared hosting also spreads a large number of sites across the same server, which can slow things down when traffic spikes.

With us, essential features are included on all tiers. Your hosting price stays the same unless your site complexity or traffic grows enough to require you to move to a new tier. You’ll always talk to the same person, someone who already knows your site and setup. We also maintain a much smaller client base so you won’t have to worry about other people’s traffic spikes slowing down your website.

We use uptime monitoring software; if your website goes down, our team gets alerted and starts working immediately. We often have your site back online before anyone notices.

When you work with Curly Coder, you won’t need to call anyone. We get notified and start working immediately.

Breaking means your site is down, a key feature stops working (like a contact form or checkout), or an update causes an error. It doesn’t cover content updates, design tweaks, or new features. Those fall under our web support or design services, and we’re happy to point you in the right direction if that’s what you need.

Most WordPress outages come down to two things: outdated software or hosting that runs out of resources.

With Curly Coder’s managed WordPress hosting, we evaluate your site before placing it on one of our servers to ensure it’s the right size for your needs. We keep all your plugins updated. We implement security measures on every site we host. And if all else fails, we keep backups to restore your site quickly.

Pricing depends on your site’s complexity and traffic. We review your site and place you in the appropriate tier.

Anyone running a site that drives revenue or donations, anyone who is tech-averse, or anyone who wants to focus on their business more than their website.

If your site going down costs you money or you don’t want the hassle of upkeep, yes. In some cases, the money you miss out on while your site is down outweighs the cost of a year of hosting.

There may be a brief interruption while your website is moved, but we do everything we can to minimize it. We prepare your site on our servers before making the final switch so the transition is as smooth as possible.

Yes. Your domain can stay exactly where it is. We actually prefer clients to keep ownership of their domains so they remain in full control of purchases and renewals.

Month-to-month hosting can be canceled at any time. Annual plans can also be canceled at any time, but prepaid hosting fees aren’t refundable. Any remaining credit can be applied toward other Curly Coder services.

We take several steps aimed to prevent hacking, including security monitoring, regular updates, and recommended security best practices. We also encourage strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and limiting administrator accounts. If a site is compromised, we’ll isolate it from our other servers to protect everyone else. While we don’t provide malware removal or hack remediation, we’ll let you know what happened and help you understand the next steps.

We do offer content management services, but they are not part of our hosting packages. We do offer discounts to our hosting clients if they also purchase a website support package.
