Who This Is For

You have a website

You don’t have time to maintain it

You don’t know who to call when something breaks.

Sound familiar? A few common situations bring people to us:

  • Your freelance developer disappeared after launching your site.
  • You’re keeping a running list of website updates that never seem to get done.
  • Your team avoids making changes because they’re worried about breaking something.
  • Your site has a broken form, error, or other issue and you need someone to fix it.
  • You make regular updates but don’t have anyone responsible for keeping the site current.

If any of that sounds familiar, our support plans keep your website updated, handle routine WordPress maintenance, and give you a dedicated person to call whenever you need help.

Why Choose Curly Coder for WordPress Website Support

A Dedicated Person, Every Time

You won’t get passed between different client reps or a support queue. You work with the same person who knows your site, every time you reach out.

Transparent pricing

You have one flat monthly price. Every task is assigned points based on complexity, not hours, and we confirm the point total before starting anything.

We Watch, So You Don’t Have To

Automated monitoring and backups run in the background, so issues get caught early, often before they cost you a customer.

Updates Done Safely, Not Blindly

Before touching any plugin, theme, or core update, our team backs up your site first. If something goes wrong, we can roll it back, so an update never turns into a crisis.

What’s Included in Our Website Support Plans

Our support plans all cover WordPress maintenance in addition to website content updates. This gives you the freedom to send an email, then get back to running your business.

Here are some of the ways we help:

  • Keep your staff, events, and business information accurate and up to date.
  • Share new blog posts without worrying about formatting or publishing.
  • Launch new services or update pricing as your organization grows.
  • Expand your website with new pages that match your existing design.
  • Help visitors find what they need with updated navigation.
  • Capture more inquiries with new or updated forms.
  • Resolve common WordPress issues before they become bigger problems.

How Our Pricing Works

We don’t bill hourly and we don’t track time. Each task is assigned points based on complexity.

A quick text edit or image swap would be 1 point. Building a new page from your site’s existing components might be 15 points. Before we start anything, we’ll tell you exactly how many points it’ll use and how many you have left for the month, so there’s never a surprise.

What If Something Breaks

We require SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) access so that if a critical error occurs that prevents admin access, we can go in and get your site back online.

If something breaks while we’re not working on your site, we’ll get a notification, notify you, and try to get things back up and running. This may be out of our control and due to a hosting issue. If you’d like guaranteed uptime, check out our managed hosting.

FAQs

Weekly backups and software updates, text and copy edits, image swaps, blog post uploads, form field updates, form creation, minor layout changes, and new pages built from your site’s existing components, just to name a few.

We typically acknowledge requests within 2 to 3 business hours. Once we’ve confirmed the point cost, work begins according to your plan’s turnaround time.

Points reset each month and don’t roll over, so you always know exactly what you have to work with. If we notice you consistently under-utilizing your points, we’ll reach out and suggest moving to a lower tier.

No, but if you have unmanaged hosting, we strongly recommend having someone, whether that’s us or someone else, handle WordPress maintenance so your site stays secure.

That’s exactly what this service is for. Freelancers often build a site and leave you to figure out the rest. With us on retainer, you have somewhere to send content updates and questions as they come up.

We offer retainers and à la carte pricing. Retainers include a set number of monthly points, with simple tasks costing fewer points than complex ones. For example, a quick image swap or wording change is 1 point, while building a new page from your site’s existing components is 15. We’ll confirm the point cost before starting any task, along with how many points you have left for the month.

For our retainer clients, we offer a discounted à la carte price of $55/hr. If you’re regularly going over, a higher tier is usually more cost-effective, and we’ll let you know if that’s the case.

Absolutely! We prefer you lump your requests together rather than one at a time because it allows us to work more efficiently and helps you get the most value from your monthly points.

While no troubleshooting is completely risk-free, we always create a backup before making changes. If something unexpected happens, we can restore your website and continue troubleshooting safely.

If you would like to eliminate visible downtime, you’ll want to check out our managed hosting. With our managed hosting, we perform all troubleshooting and updates on a separate staging site before making anything live.
